Welcome to Templar Cottage, one of the few substantial lakeside acreages left in the heart of the Haliburton Highlands. Here is a private, exclusive retreat in the midst of 32 acres of mature forest. Take a stroll along the path; follow the stone steps leading to rustic wooden bridges spanning your own private babbling brook. Hear the water tumble over the waterfalls as you walk towards Horseshoe Lake to enjoy 1800 feet of private shoreline.

Savour the experience during the warmth of summer, the dazzling colour of autumn or the wonderland of winter.

 
 
Your family can enjoy the bliss that three generations of our family have experienced. Templar Cottage is nonsmoking, child and pet friendly environment. Centrally located between Minden and Haliburton Village, you can enjoy so many of the activities and attractions that this beautiful area has to offer, whatever the season.

Templar Cottage is designed for the modern family. 2800 sq. ft. of living space consisting of a dining room, two large family rooms, two bathrooms and full kitchen. The cottage can sleep 12-16 comfortably in 3 bedrooms, 2 lofts and 2 pullout couches in one of the family rooms.

Rates for 2007/2008:  
   
Summer rate May to September : $2000.00 per week (Sunday – Saturday)  
Winter rate $1600.00 per week or $600.00 weekend (Friday – Sunday)  
 

Check in time is 3:00 pm Sunday and check out time 11:00 am the following Sunday

 
   
Please Note:  
   

- Minimum stay in the summer months is 7 days 7 nights

  

- Weekly bookings run from Sunday to Saturday

 

- Damage waver is required no refunds

 

- 50% upon commitment – the remainder 30 days before rental starts
